SCOTT WEILAND Gets DUI Trial Date
February 23, 2004According to MTV.com, VELVET REVOLVER singer Scott Weiland (ex-STONE TEMPLE PILOTS) finally got a trial date for his drug charges. The singer will stand trial for his charge of driving while under the influence of drugs starting March 15, according to the Los Angeles city attorney's office.
VELVET REVOLVER's debut CD, "Contraband", is scheduled for release on May 18 through RCA Records. First single "Slither" will be delivered March 23 to U.S. rock radio outlets for airplay consideration. Among the other tracks set for inclusion are "Sucker Train Blues", "Fall To Pieces", "Super Human", "You Got No Right", "Set Me Free" and "Headspace".
